The Delano Police Station services the needs of Kern County's second-largest town. There are approximately 55,000 residents in Delano. The Delano Police Department provides serveral different services such as: animal control, a critical response unit, an investigations unit, a D.A.R.E. unit, K-9 units, patrol operations, public safety units and traffic enforcement.

It's important to know that if the defendant is not bailed out from jail, they will generally remain in custody until the matter has been resolved in court.
